New Generation Heirlooms

We developed a process that combines algorithmic design with artisanal craftsmanship. In this process, we digitally transform voice data into 3-D CAD models. The jewellery pieces come to life by infusing the sound waves of our customers’ spoken words into an algorithm that translates them into intricate organic shapes. The forms generated are 3-D printed to produce patterns for traditional lost-wax casting.

Mindfully Made

Horai is designed by Dörte and Paolo de Jesus in Berlin, and each intricate piece is carefully handcrafted at a traditional jewellery foundry in Pforzheim, Germany. All pieces are made-to-order from certified 100% recycled bronze or silver. Sustainability is at the core of each design, creating fully traceable heirloom pieces destined to be passed on through generations.
